If I have to upgrade, it’ll have to be a little suitcase on wheels.
The contents of my bag:
Nappy
wipes
bib
biscuits
New Testament and Psalms
small purse with lipsalve and pens
2 wallets
3 rosarys
a rosary booklet for children
a set of prayer cards
Magnificat
An envelope full of vouchers
Booklet on history of the church
scissors
a novena booklet
Fold out map of central London.
a handbook of prayers
A copy of ‘Breakfast At Tiffanys’
tissues
ipod sock
mobile phone
spider man mask
notebook
No wonder it’s so heavy. There’s definitely too much ‘book stuff’ going on there.
My idea of emergency kit is ” Must have reading material”
I do keep a blanket and spare water in the car though. But mostly I’m driving through London, not the Nevada desert, so emergency reading material is more the order of the day.
Blimey. Were you a girl guide? There’s certainly preparedness for praying and reading (and being spiderman)… I’m impressed about the blanket and water, too.
